The airport is connected to Milan by the Milano-Varese highway as well as by the “Malpensa Express” train departing from the Milano Centrale railway station and Milano Cadorna railway station. It takes about 50 and 40 minutes respectively to reach Milano city center.

79 return journeys every 30 minutes per day. The train stops at Milano Bovisa Politecnico, Saronno and Busto Arstizio railway station.
Milano Centrale – Malpensa Terminal 1 & 2
68 return journeys every 30 minutes per day. The train stops at Milano Porta Garibaldi, Milano Bovisa Politecnico and Saronno railway station. From Saronno railway station to Malpensa Terminal 2 the train stops at all stations.
Line S30 Ticino – Luino – Malpensa Terminal 1 & 2

Milano Malpensa Airport can be easily reached by bus from the Central Station ( Stazione Centrale) in Milan, from Fiera Milano City/Fiera Rho Pero and from Milan Linate Airport.
